Poker HUD for GGPoker in 2026: what works, what doesn't, and why

GGPoker is the largest online poker room in the world and the one where the least software works. New players arrive expecting the HUD they used elsewhere and find nothing attaches. This is the state of things in 2026: what the network blocks and how, what it offers in place, the workarounds people try, and what is actually available to a player who wants reads on a GG table.

1. Why conventional HUDs do not run

A HUD like PokerTracker or Hold'em Manager works by reading the hand-history text files a poker client writes to your disk during play, matching them to the open table by window title, and drawing statistics over each seat. GGPoker's client writes no hand histories during play. Hands become available afterwards, inside the client's own PokerCraft tool, and only for your own hands. There is nothing for a HUD to read, and the network's terms prohibit software that collects data on opponents in any case. Natural8, BetKings and the other skins share the client and the policy. ClubGG, the network's club app, is the same.

2. What PokerCraft gives you

PokerCraft is GG's built-in analytics: your results, your hands replayed, your positional statistics, your EV graphs, and a "Smart HUD" that shows a few stats about yourself and limited, delayed information about opponents, such as their rating badges in some formats. It is a review tool, and a good one, but it tells you little about the person across the table right now, which is the whole point of a HUD.

3. The workarounds people try

Hand-history converters

Tools that pull your PokerCraft history after a session and convert it into a format a tracker can import. They work for reviewing your own play and they build a database of the players you have met, but they cannot show anything live, and the network treats automated collection from PokerCraft as a violation.

Screen scrapers and pixel readers

Software that reads the table from the screen, as a human would, and builds its own record of every hand it sees: who raised, who folded, what was shown at showdown. This is the only approach that produces live information on a GG table, because it needs nothing from the client. It is also what the network's terms forbid as real-time assistance when it offers advice during play, and the network enforces that with account closures and confiscated funds. There is no grey area to point to.

Memory

Most GG regulars run on notes and memory, and the good ones are formidable at it. It does not scale past a few tables or a few dozen regulars.

4. What a pixel reader actually produces

Because the reader sees every hand at the table, it can keep the statistics a HUD would have: fold to continuation bet, aggression by street, raise frequency, what a player showed down. On a rules level it is real-time assistance, allowed in study, coaching, home games, private clubs that permit it and play money, and forbidden by the GG network at its real-money tables.

5. What you can realistically have on GG today

At the network's real-money tables, within the rules: PokerCraft after the session, your own notes during it, and the player badges the client shows. Nothing live about opponents beyond what you observe.
For study and review of GG hands: your PokerCraft export into a tracker or a review tool, and GTO MAX AI's hand history and player log from sessions where it was allowed.
For learning how GG's particular pool plays: a profile built from the hands you have seen, which is more honest than population stats from another network, because GG's pool is its own.
